Custom Furniture Designs for Hughes Chevalier Incorporated / Paris / Milan / Lausanne

Collaboration with the Paris-based furniture manufacturer Hughes Chevalier started shortly after the completion of the Nestlé Headquarters renovation. A few furniture pieces, initially designed for Nestlé, were revised for production and marketing by the French firm, and these were augmented by new pieces designed to form a living room ensemble. An ongoing collaboration with Hughes Chevalier, this project also included the design, production, and marketing of a chair and stool. RDR design SA, a division of Richter & Dahl Rocha Architects, is currently working on a light restaurant chair, as well as a dining room ensemble. These furniture designs are executed primarily with light and dark wood laminations combined with colored leather upholstery.
