Prototype of the façade for the new Hall 3 of the Payerne Air Base

The prototype of the facade of the new Hall 3 was realized and presented to arma Suisse Immobilier and the air force. The architectural and construction concepts of the monochromatic natural anodized aluminum façade were tested with this sample. The nuances come from the different applications of the material and the type of metal cladding. This includes flat sheet cladding, trapezoidal profile cladding that is unperforated, perforated on all sides, and partially perforated. This allows for subtlety and a play of transparency and texture while maintaining a simple building system of one material and one color.
